Be Kind Monday
Monday is a day we usually dread. The depressing unfinished to-do list (that no human could have completed). The constant obstacles: where in the XXXX is her blue shirt? His homework? My keys?
Mondays just take extra TLC to get through them successfully. This challenge applies especially to kids because their coping skills are in the early development stages. It’s easy to understand why getting into a tiff could be the norm.
BE KIND, especially with family. Yes, they are often the hardest to be kind to, but they are certainly the most important. A little extra focus and effort pay off big time. Being extra considerate at home in the morning prepares us to carry kindness throughout the day. It’s another way to say, “I’m choosing joy today.”
